 WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Make outreach calls to existing client base, promoting our unique Brand Offering and inviting client store visits/appointments.
  • Build relationships with showroom visitors and client appointments. 
  • Help clients select furniture, décor, and accessories that fit their homes and

lifestyles.

  • Support our Owners and Designers during some in-store home consultations and client presentations.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to prospective customers.
  • Develop repeat business through exceptional service and ongoing communication.
  • Manage customer inquiries and sales opportunities from initial contact through delivery.
  • Create an outstanding luxury client experience at every interaction.

Accounting Manager

Full Time – In Office

About Us

We are a well-established interior design studio and luxury home furnishings retailer seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee our day-to-day accounting operations. This is a hands-on position responsible for managing accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, account reconciliations, tax filings, and month-end close activities.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Management

  • Manage the full accounting cycle and maintain accurate financial records
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and assist with month-end and year-end close
  • Generate internal financial reports and management reporting
  • Monitor and process inventory-related accounting adjustments
  • Assist ownership with financial analysis and special projects

Accounts Payable & Vendor Management

  • Process accounts payable using three-way matching procedures
  • Review and approve invoices for proper coding and documentation
  • Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation
  • Manage vendor relationships and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Record daily bank deposits and other cash activity

 Payroll, Compliance & Reporting

  • Process payroll and sales commission calculations
  • Complete workers' compensation reporting
  • Prepare and file sales tax returns
  • Prepare and file business property tax reports
  • Coordinate annual 1099 reporting
  • Assist external CPA and tax professionals during year-end reporting

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience with increasing responsibility
  • Strong understanding of accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations
  • Experience with payroll processing and sales tax reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Quickbooks, Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Retail, inventory, furniture, design, construction, or related industry experience is a plus
